Conditions of Hire.
1. Terms. All terms are per week (unless stated in your holiday confirmation) and are for a self catering cottage, chalet, caravan, apartment or villa as equipped and described.

2. You will be held responsible for making good or paying for any damage to accommodation, fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery. Charges may be taken directly from your credit/debit card and may also include any additional costs associated with replacing or repairing any damage. A refundable security deposit of £150 is required when booking cottages in the UK & all accommodation abroad. Amounts may vary by property and this refundable deposit is due with your holiday balance payment.

3. We ask you not to arrive before the time stated on your ‘Holiday Confirmation’ letter, staff need the few hours available on change over days to prepare your accommodation for you. If you do arrive earlier, then ‘Red Sky Holidays’ cannot be held responsible for the condition of your accommodation.

4. Booking Deposit. This is a reservation fee to be enclosed with your completed booking form. The deposit is £50 per week or short break booked and is non refundable. For cottages & property abroad a 25% non refundable deposit or £50 which ever is greater is required at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation Plan. We strongly recommend you take out our ‘Holiday Cancellation Plan’ to ensure complete peace of mind should you need to cancel your holiday. The cost of the plan plus deposits paid are non refundable in the event of any cancellation. The cancellation plan terminates at 9am on the first day of your holiday. If your reason for cancellation is not covered by the plan or you have not paid into the plan, Red Sky will endeavor to re-let your holiday accommodation, in which case a full refund, less deposit, will be made. There is however a £10 administration charge for this.

6. Balance of holiday money. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to your holiday and should be paid by the due date on your Holiday Confirmation. A receipt will be sent to acknowledge your deposit, this will show the balance you need to send, no further invoice will be sent.

7. Red Sky Holidays GUARANTEE the price of your holiday at the time of booking, there will be no surcharges added. Prices are based on 4 people sharing. A charge of £20 per week/break will be made for any additional persons. Cottages & properties abroad are usually priced for the entire occupancy level.

8. We regret that bookings from groups of either young women or young men cannot be accepted.

9. AVAILABILITY. The booking is made on the understanding that the property will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should this not be possible, through circumstances beyond the ours or the owners control, (e.g fire, theft or damage) we cannot guarantee to provide an alternative property, in which case all monies, including deposit will be refunded in full, but the hirer or any of their party shall have no further claim against Red Sky Holidays. Red Sky Holidays cannot ensure the availability of amenities on any of the holiday parks at which your holiday accommodation is booked.

10. Red Sky Holidays shall not be responsible for the death or injury to any person on holiday, in or visiting Red Sky accommodation, or any loss of or damage to the property of any such person, however any such death, injury, loss or damage is caused.

11. All persons in your party must be entered on the holiday booking form. Red Sky Holidays reserve the right to refuse persons not entered on the booking form.

12. Pets. Regretfully pets are not permitted in any of our holiday accommodation without prior consent and payment and are also prohibited from most holiday parks advertised.

13. Electric. Chalets are fitted with an electric coin (£1 or 50p) or card meter (£1 or £5 which can be purchased from Reception or the Amusement arcade) On average, depending on the time of year you can expect to pay around £10 per week per chalet. For most Cottages & properties abroad, Gas & or electricity is included in the price. However, charges for excessive use may be applied.
